Trinity Koch is a Meanjin (Brisbane) based visual artist who works across video, performance documentation, photomedia, and installation. In her practice, Trinity contemplates the connection between the human body and natural world. She explores this connection through the lens of nature-based spirituality, environmental concerns, and the domestic sphere. From this space, she engages with the contradictory nature of caring deeply about the earth in an era when humans are implicated in nature’s damage and destruction. Her quiet, meditative works reject anthropocentric worldviews, allowing the voice, beauty, and importance of nature to shine through.
