Katlin Litt

(she, her)

Katlin Litt is a Brisbane-based artist that works across a range of media, including soft sculpture, textile, printmaking, photography, and painting. Her diaristic practice engages personal experiences of self and the domestic space, specifically delving into femininity, and body modification. Katlin utilises dress-making processes, as well as methods of fabric dyeing, and quilting. In processes such as cutting, frilling, binding, stamping, puncturing, and hand moulding – by turn, by violent and reparative – she explores the complexities of being in and of a female body in contemporary society.
